Creating Inner Peace By Honoring Yourself

Do you feel stuck? Are you experiencing burn out? Does the thought of disappointing people terrify you? If the voice in your head is shouting “YES!” then you’ve come to the right place. Dedicating time for yourself through therapy is a great first step in establishing a healthy balance across all areas of your life. I know that life is already stressful, so all of our sessions will meet virtually where you can participate from a place that is most comfortable for you.

My Approach

  • Boundary Setting: I support each of my clients in better understanding the aspects of their lives that may be weighing them down. This understanding will be used as a guide in recognizing when its important to say "no" or "not right now". Honoring your boundaries shows that you value your needs and well-being. This fosters self-respect, which leads to a deeper sense of inner peace and confidence.

  • Effective Communication: We often get stuck in the same patterns of communication that lead to frustration and misunderstandings. I collaborate with my clients to create, practice and implement clear communication strategies that lead to resolution.

  • Goal Setting: Setting small achievable goals leads to long term habits and builds confidence. I will help you recognize opportunities to create goals that can be implemented into your daily routine and don’t feel like extra work.

  • Honoring Progress: It can be hard to see growth within yourself. We live in a world where discussing our achievements can be seen as “bragging” or “selfish”. My favorite part of working with my clients is recognizing successes and establishing a supportive environment to celebrate milestones.

I am so happy you are here! I provide every client with empathy, understanding and authentic support for what they are experiencing. Together we will learn to: set boundaries, identify and communicate emotions, discover your personal power and develop your sense of self worth. My work is guided by both observable and measurable progress toward mutually agreed upon goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with active licenses in California and Michigan.
